On Monday, February 11th William Jewell had the
pleasure of welcoming the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City to its campus. The
Federal Reserve Bank held an open information session that was aimed at
informing students about the various career and internship opportunities that
they had available. In addition they outlined the application process that is
needed for all positions. The Federal Reserve looks for individuals that have
strong analytical and problem solving ability, leadership skills, oral & written
communication, initiative, and project management and organization skills.
Joining the Federal Reserve will give you access to personal and professional
growth opportunities, involvement opportunities in the community, and great employee
benefits. Internships are offered in a variety of departments over the summer
and last for 10 weeks. These internships are paid and provide a great
opportunity for full-time job consideration upon graduation. The interview
process for full-time positions consists of 3 interviews: on campus, in-house,
and final interview. For internships the
on campus interview is the final interview. To learn more information about the
Federal Reserve check out their website at www.kansascityfed.org.
